Is CBT or DBT better for ADHD?

Sometimes CBT and DBT are not the best choice for ADHD, but often they can be helpful. CBT is a good choice if your primary ADHD struggles are executive dysfunction (time-management, organization, focus). DBT can be more helpful if you struggle heavily with emotion dysregulation, rejection sensitivity, and impulsivity.

Does Meditation help with ADHD?

In many situations, meditation is an excellent complementary tool for managing ADHD. Whether guided or slef-led, meditation actually trains your brain to notice when it has wandered and helps it return to the task faster. Science has shown that it actually physically thickens the prefrontal cortex—the area responsible for focus and impulse control—and naturally boost dopamine levels helping you to feel better.
